Rapper Nadia Nakai has flown to Dubai, and while there, she indicated that she finds it offensive to wear certain clothes in the modest country because of her curves – via an Instagram Story on Tuesday, May 30.
Rapper Nadia Nakai has arrived in the Middle East. It is unclear why she is visiting Dubai, although she has been promoting the country on her Instagram account. She also posted a video of rehearsals to her Instagram Story.
Nadia also shared on her Story that she believes wearing shorts and spaghetti tops would be “offensive” in the modest country. She said that this is due to her curves.
“I keep on readjusting myself, making sure the girls aren’t out because I’ve seen all the white ladies and stuff wearing spaghetti tops and shorts and I’m like it’s not strict in Dubai,” she said.
So, she was adjusting her dress to make sure it did not show too much of leg or anything else.
“But if I had to wear the same attire with all my curves and my who’s and my whats… it’s offensive when I do it. It’s offensive because being a black girl, with curves, wearing shorts and a spaghetti top.. Guys yoh. I ain’t trying to get in trouble,” she continued.
