Basetsana Kumalo Recalls Being Crowned Miss South Africa In 1994

Basetsana Kumalo took to social media to share a throwback photo of herself as Miss South Africa in 1994. The actress revealed that she was the first Miss World runner-up in 1994, which was 28 years ago.

Basetsana said for the past 28 years, she has continued to live up to her Moto “To whom much is given, much is expected.”

She wrote: “Happy Throwback Thursday Darlings ✨ Miss World 1994 – 28 years Ago 👑 In 1994 Basetsana Kumalo was crowned Miss South Africa and 1st runner up at @missworld.
