‘Best Decision Ever’: Mihlali Ndamase Celebrates 30 Days Of Sobriety

South African influencer and YouTube content creator Mihlali Ndamase has decided to go sober. The gorgeous 27-year-old took to her Instagram yesterday to share that she has been sober for 30 days already and is feeling better than ever. According to her, the decision has increased her productivity while also increasing her happiness.

The social media personality revealed that she hosted at a nightclub without drinking and encouraged those who wanted to go sober to do the same.

Mihlali Ndamase has become one of South Africa’s most prominent female celebrities.

The young YouTuber shot to fame by sharing makeup tutorials on the platform.

Now she busies herself with her very own business, her makeup classes, and her wealthy boyfriend Leeroy Sidambe.

Mihlali recently had people talking after announcing that she has gone sober.

Taking to Instagram on Monday this week, Mihlali shared that she has been sober for 30 day and is doing better than ever.

“I’m celebrating 30 days sober. I did it. I’m at the happiest, peak of my productivity, and healthiest alcohol-free. I haven’t felt this good in months. This has been by far the best decision I’ve made for my life,” she wrote.

Instagram users questioned Mihlali about her Konka visit just a few weeks before the post and wondered whether or not she had been drinking.

She shared that she did indeed go to Konka and was hosting at the popular Soweto club.

Taking her time, she explained that even though she was at the club, she didn’t drink anything.

She encouraged others that they can do the same.

“I shared something to encourage those who would like to take the same route as me, those with an unhealthy relationship with substances who felt like they can’t quit. It’s either you take something from my story or you ignore it if it doesn’t apply to you.

“People can have fun without being drunk. Please don’t make me regret opening up to you guys. I did it for a month without being policed and I can do it for another month and another. I know why I quit and what impact it’s had on my life. I don’t need discouraging remarks and yes, I am being sensitive about it because this is something that’s very close to my heart,” she said according to a TimesLive article
