Black Coffee Gives Back To The Community

The famous DJ Black Coffee has decided to help poor kids go to school through his Black Coffee Foundation. He recently went to three schools in townships and gave away things like uniforms.

Black Coffee recently visited three schools in KwaZulu-Natal. These schools were Windy Heights Primary in Isiphingo, Umlazi schools Qondokuhle Primary and King Shaka, and Windy Heights Primary in Isiphingo.

At the event, he talked about how he wants to improve the lives of the poor. It was also recently said that the schools had given him awards.

“Every child deserves a Christmas present but we are focusing on essential needs. They say it takes a village to raise a child. With this donation I don’t feel like a saviour but a helper that worked with a team,” he said as quoted by Zimoja.

People know that Black Coffee always gives back to the community. He hopes that his music will make people’s lives better. When he won a Grammy for his album Subconsciously as the best dance/electronic album, he gave the award to all of the children in Africa.

“I remain in awe of God’s grace and mercy; because I did not prepare a speech for the ceremony, with this post I would like to extend my gratitude. I thank God for the gift of music, for blessing me with a beautiful healthy family, a wonderful group of friends and fans from all corners of the world,” he said.

“This award is dedicated to my kids who have had to put up with me being on the road working on this Music. I love you, thank you for your unwavering and unconditional love. You anchor me @esonaaaaa to have dedicated my first album to you not knowing what it would yield and I also dedicate the award to every African child who has a dream of excelling in anything they envision, I want to affirm that it is all possible,” he ended off before thanking more people.

“Wow, I don’t even know what to say. I want to thank God for the gift of music and being able to share it with the world and heal some souls. And to be able to help people deal with whatever they are going through in life.

“I wanna thank my team…not going to be able to mention them all. I wanna thank everyone who was in the album, from Msaki in South Africa, to David Guetta who had believed in working with the smaller artists like myself, and for trusting me and trusting my year.

“I wanna thank my fans and people who follow what I do all over the world, I wanna thank my family and I wanna thank my children,” he says as he introduces his first born son Esona to an enthusiastic crowd.
