Lorna Maseko, South Africa’s very own, recently crossed paths with Bill Clinton, and she couldn’t be happier.
Lorna Maseko, a South African TV personality and celebrity chef, has made a name for herself in the South African entertainment industry. In fact, she has done so well that she has recently been seen socializing with former US (United States) President Bill Clinton.
Lorna took to social media to share photos and video clips of herself with Clinton at the Clinton Global Initiative event in New York last year.
Lorna Maseko is flying the South African flag high and couldn’t be happier.
The popular local chef just headed online to share a throwback post about the time she got to meet the 42nd US president Bill Clinton.
According to her post, she met Clinton after she was invited to attend his initiative.
An IOL article reports that the initiative “brings together established and emerging global leaders to create and implement solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges.”
Sharing a clip of herself and Clinton, Lorna wrote:
“It was an absolute honour to be invited to @clintonglobal where I had the opportunity to meet and speak with President Clinton, among so many other leaders in our global community,” wrote Maseko.
“I absolutely love the work they do. I am inspired by their commitment to action, changing our world for the better through concrete steps.”
She also added that she looks forward to working with the organisation in the future.
“I look forward to learning more, and even becoming a small part of the exciting projects they have coming up.”
