SEE: Gospel Star Kholeka Dubula’s Damaged House After Earthquake

Kholeka Dubula Sosibo, a Gospel star, was among the numerous South Africans who were shaken by an earthquake in Gauteng at roughly 02:38 on Sunday, June 11.

A 4.7 magnitude earthquake was reported in Gauteng’s East Rand by the Council for Geoscience. The earthquake measured around 5.0 on the Richter scale, according to the US Geological Survey (USGS) and the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).

The quake was reportedly believed to have struck roughly 10km below the surface and 16km southeast of Johannesburg.

“The epicenter was located in the Boksburg area a few kilometers outside East Rand Proprietarty Mine, in the East Rand of Johannesburg”.

Gauteng residents flooded social media in reaction to the phenomenon, with others reporting structural damage.

One of the residents affected is gospel singer Kholeka who took to Twitter to share a video of the damage the earthquake caused in her house in Boksburg.

“I’m in Boksburg, this is what has happened to my house. Matthew 24 told us of what is to come,” she wrote.
