“Instagram Is killing The Youth” – Sizwe Dhlomo

According to Sizwe Dhlomo, the popular social media platform Instagram is harmful, particularly to youth.

The radio personality is known for being outspoken about certain issues on Twitter, and his claim has gotten a lot of attention this time around.

“Instagram is killing the youth,” he wrote.

The tweet got mixed reviews as some claimed it’s not only the youth.

People supported Sizwe’s claim with different stories.

“Blame the youth, not Instagram. Instagram didn’t hold nobody hostage for them to use it,” a tweep wrote.

“The peer pressure on Instagram is just unbelievable. The pressure is so great, you end up being anxious, seeking validation from likes which hardly come…then depression kicks in. Your life becomes super miserable because you see the world thru Insta.”

However, Dhlomo didn’t reveal what made him vocal about his claim.

What do you think, is it a fact?
