Jacques Potgieter is posing with his new lover months after allegedly confessing to cheating on his wife Angelique Gerber.
After an alleged cheating scandal, Jacques, a former Bull and current Cheetah, and his actress wife are reportedly divorcing.
In July 2022, Jacques posted Instagram Stories claiming he had cheated on his wife. The athlete later claimed his account was “hacked.”
Jacques married former 7de Laan actress Angelique in 2016 and has three young children.
SPRINGBOKS PLAYER AND ACTRESS WIFE SPLIT
Jacques Potgieter posted IG Stories alleging he cheated on his wife with several female students, according to News24. The ex-Springboks player also allegedly requested explicit photos from the young women.
At the same time, a cryptic post appeared on Angelique Gerber’s IG, stating: “The truth always comes out.”
But the athlete denied he had done so, insisting that a hacker was to blame. He also assured the publication that the accusations about his marriage and alleged affairs were false.

Angelique posted an apology on her account, stating: “I want to apologise for the inappropriate posts that included me and which were posted without my consent.
“It was deeply upsetting to me. My legal team is in the process of investigating the matter.”
But by Christmas, it was clear the couple had officially split after removing all romantic posts featuring each other. To further fuel the fire, Jacques went Instagram official with his new lover.

Hinting that his marriage to Angelique is over, Jacques has been posting several flirty messages to his new bae.
He shared in one post: “When you feel 18 again. My Lalla, you make me feel like a schoolboy again”.
In another, he posted: “Thank you for bringing the best out of me! You are seriously the coolest girl I have ever met! We have so much in common it’s actually scary.
“You make me laugh; you allow me to live and just be myself.”
