Kabza De Small Was Spotify’s Most Streamed South African Artist In 2022

Spotify has released South Africa’s Wrapped 2022, a look at the year’s most popular music.

Music tastes reveal a lot about us. Spotify users can view their favorite artists, creators, and songs in Wrapped 2022. Audio Day and the new Your Listening Personality feature show Spotify users how their musical tastes change throughout the day. Based on 2022 listening trends, Spotify assigns users one of 16 Listening Personalities.

Wrapped 2022 will include artist messages to listeners, and users can share their cards on WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. Roblox players can visit Spotify Island for more fun and unlock a Snapchat lens that matches their listening style.

“South Africans can be proud of what their creatives in music are achieving. They are making noise in the right places, and at the right time,” says Warren Bokwe, Spotify’s Artist and Label Partnerships Manager in South Africa.
