Kay Sibiya Responds To Baby Mama’s Zookey Zarling Rape Allegations

Kay Sibiya, the Imbewu actor, has finally spoken out after his baby mama, Zukiswa “Zookey Zarling” Vuthela, accused him of rape.

ALLEGATIONS OF RAPE AGAINST KAY SIBIYA

Last week, the radio personality took to Facebook to claim that one of her children was conceived as a result of sexual assault by the former Uzalo actor.

Zookey, a sangoma, claimed in lengthy videos, voice notes, and images that Kay Sibiya drugged and raped her in 2014. She claimed that their daughter, Zia-Mia, was conceived in this manner.

Furthermore, she stated that she has denied being the father of their daughter, but she has not denied him a paternity test. She also implicated Kay Sibiya’s parents in her allegations, claiming that they have apologised to her on their son’s behalf and have been kicked out of his house because they support her.

THE ACTOR RESPONDS

In a statement released on Wednesday, 1 March, the former The Wife actor denied his baby mama’s allegations, saying it broke his heart that their daughter would one day see the rape allegations on social media.

“It is with utter sadness and regret that I must write this statement to explain myself to the public, further exposing my little daughter to data that she will have access to online in the future, with the utmost anguish and remorse. I find that this is the most tragic part.

“The truth is, I did not rape nor assault Miss. Zukiswa Zookey Zarling” Vuthela at any time,” the statement read.

Kay Sibiya further said that he has never denied his daughter, Zia-Mia.

“I’ve never denied being the father of my own child. We welcomed my daughter into our blended family in 2019 when she lived with us because her mother was unable to care for her,” he added in the statement.

Besides his daughter with Zookey, the actor also a son with his partner, Judie Kama, whom they welcomed in 2019.

In his statement, Kay Sibiya also said he would be taking the former Gagasi FM presenter to court as he has opened a case of defamation of character, false accusation and kidnapping.

“If Ms. Z Vuthela has any other comments, I would like to ask that she and her legal team get in touch with my attorneys.

“The South African justice system will handle this case, and ultimately, at the end the truth shall prevail. The warrant officer has been attempting to locate Miss Z Vuthela in relation to the current situation. but she is currently untraceable.”
