Limpopo Based Radio DJ Itu Banda Leaves Capricorn FM

Itumeleng “Itu” Banda, who hosted the lunchtime show “Capricorn Adventure” on Capricorn FM, has departed the station.

According to the Limpopo Chronicle on Wednesday, April 19, radio host Itumeleng “Itu” Banda has left Capricorn FM with immediate effect.

“The 32-year-old has been part of the station for almost a decade. She was currently the host of the Capricorn Adventure between 12:00-15:00 on weekdays. She is also a content producer, actress, MC, Influencer, and club DJ”, added the publication.

The station’s staff were reportedly informed about her resignation via a communique sent by programmes manager Prudence Mabasa: “We would like to inform you that Ms. Itumeleng Banda has resigned with immediate effect. We would like to thank her for all the years she has dedicated to the brand and wish her well in all her future endeavours.”

Banda also revealed she resigned on Monday, 17 April due to reasons she cannot disclose at the moment: “But for a progressive station, there is no progress for us as presenters,” added Banda.

The content producer also revealed, her fans will be hearing her voice on the radio again and said she’s grateful for the opportunity the station gave her.
