Murdah Bongz Talks About Life After Leaving Black Motion

Murdah Bongz, a former Black Motion member who quit the group in 2022, told a local magazine that he struggled with confidence for the first few months after the separation.

Bongani Mohosana, aka Murdah or Morda, has finally spoken out about his life after Black Motion and his decision to pursue a solo career.

According to the publication, Mahosana battled with confidence for the first few months but is now enjoying his solo career and says it’s been an incredible trip.

“I have felt different emotions every day since making the decision. Everyone around me was celebrating me going solo, but for some reason, I had to discover the confidence to do so. I realized you have to be confident in your product if you wish to sell it to people. The people can’t be lied to.”

The DJ released his debut album Asante in 2022 and one of the songs in the album, Mohigan Sun, which features Oscar Mbo and Murumba Pitch.

“Oscar and Murumba Pitch have been there for me since the beginning. And I believe that if the energy is pure and the music is important, then I vibe with you.”

The talented musician also assures his fans that the album was just the beginning and that Morda is here to stay.

The publication adds that the popular group Black Motion replaced Murdah aka Morda with Kabelo “Problem Child” Koma.

“In January 2023, Black Motion and its company, Spirit Motion, accused Morda of breaking into their studio, stealing equipment, and causing damages worth R500 000”, reports The People’s Paper.

Fans thought that Black Motion had split up in April 2022 after the duo made a statement stating that Murdah had changed his name to Mörda and would be establishing a solo deejaying career while Smol would be starting his own business.

ZAlebs reported in November 2022 that group member Thabo Smol indirectly confirmed Kabelo Koma as a “Member of Black Motion”.
