“My Parents Wanted Me To Do Gospel Music” – Boohle

During a recent interview on Slikour, Boohle discusses her music career and personal life.

The South African vocalist explains how her parents wanted her to do gospel music and how she eventually won their approval.

The singer claimed that her consistency and hard work proved her right on the path she chose, earning her their support.

“Just work hard and you are responsible for making them understand and believe in your dream. Work hard enough so they do believe and understand.”

“My parents always wanted me to go to gospel, that could have been ideal for all of them, church, parents  … I made them look at it as music, as a craft; that this is what I like doing. So work hard enough to make them proud,” she said.
