Pearl Thusi, a South African actress and media personality, recently took to TikTok to discuss friendships and knowing when it’s time to end one. Fans had been wondering for months why she and musician DJ Zinhle were no longer as close as they once were. Many people assumed Pearl was slamming Zinhle after watching the friendship explanation video.
Many of them took to the comments section to talk about her and Zinhle’s friendship. Others simply stood up for Zinhle when disparaging remarks were made about her.

Once upon a time, the 34-year-old Isono actress and DJ Zinhle — Ntombezinhle Jiyane — were friendship goals.
The pair — who were almost inseparable —posted snaps from their vacations, shopping trips, and night outs on social media.
And then one day, it just stopped. Naturally, South Africans had questions for the celebs but the questions were never answered.
Until now when Pearl decided to make a TikTok explaining how she left two friendships.
