Scorpion Kings Summer Tour To Start Off In Cape Town On Sunday

Ke Dezemba is the boss, and festive fever is in full swing. With so many events taking place across the country this weekend, all roads lead to Cape Town for one of the country’s biggest concerts.

Kabza Da Small and DJ Maphorisa, Amapiano pioneers, are preparing for their highly anticipated Scorpion Kings Summer Tour. The Tour will begin on Sunday, December 10 at the Grand Arena in Johannesburg.

The lineup has been revealed with only a few days to go, and it’s HOT! The lineup includes South African music industry heavyweights such as Piano Hub, New Money Gang, Madumane & Band, Young Stunna, Daliwonga, Felo Le Tee, Tashinga, Soweto’s Finest, and Venom.

The summer tour is scheduled to take place in all provinces, including Mbombela, East London, Kimberley, North West, Bloemfontein, Polokwane, Durban, and conclude on Saturday, 25th February at the Johannesburg Expo Centre.

Scorpion Kings continues to win the hearts of the masses with their chart-topping songs, making them one of the most formidable forces in local music.

It is without a doubt that their tour will be a major success. In July, the duo managed to put on a successful show when they hosted their Scorpion Kings LIVE concert at Pretoria’s SunBet Arena, Times Square. The musicians are closing off the year with a bang. Spotify recently announced the arrival of South Africa’s Wrapped 2022 and they came at the top.

Kabza De Small was crowned the most streamed South African artist and proving that the genre known for birthing creative dance challenges, is unstoppable.

According to Spotify, Kabza De Small is not only the most streamed South African artist, but he is also one of only two South African artists to rank in the top ten most streamed artists overall in South Africa, trailing only Drake and ahead of The Weeknd, who is ranked third.

KOA II Part 1 by Kabza De Small also topped the charts for the most streamed South African album in 2022. Kabza De Small is also the most streamed South African artist in South Africa, closely followed by his main collaborator, DJ Maphorisa.

Congratulations to them.
