Nadia Nakai, a South African musician and businesswoman, is still coming to terms with the death of her boyfriend AKA. Last month, the rapper, real name Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, was killed outside Wish on Florida Road in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. Before his untimely death, Nadia and AKA had been dating for over a year.
Nadia shared on her Instagram page how badly she is dealing with his death; she claims that things aren’t getting better as she goes through the grieving process.
It will soon be a month since the murder of local hitmaker AKA. On 10 February this year, the 35-year-old Company rapper was executed outside a Durban eatery.
His death shocked his millions of fans, who are still grieving.
Those closest to AKA have naturally taken his passing even harder – his girlfriend Nadia Nakai in particular. Nadia has taken to Instagram to dedicate a number of posts to her late love which have broken many hearts.
In her latest post, Nadia says that time is not easing the pain.
“This pain is just too much to bare, everyone says it’s something I will learn to live with. I just don’t believe it. Every day it just gets worse. I don’t know how to deal with this. Saying it hurts doesn’t explain the level of this pain,” she wrote.
She also added that there is a “hole in her heart” that will never be filled. Take a look at the heartbreaking post below:
