Zakes Bantwini is overjoyed after winning the GQ Men of the Year 2022 competition.
Nandi Madida, the music producer’s wife, accepted the Musician of the Year award on his behalf.
Zakes is overjoyed with the award because it recognizes his contribution to the music industry.
“Fam, we won @gqsouthafrica Musician of the Year and here’s my beautiful wife accepting the award on my behalf. This awards means a lot to me especially because it affirms the contribution I’ve made in the music industry, thank you GQ,” he wrote.
Bantwini further appreciated his supporters and his wife who helped in receiving the award; he appreciates her sacrifice.
