Lerato Molapo, also known as Lira, returned to social media for the first time in 2023 and offered an update on her health.
Last year, the singer revealed that she had a stroke and that it took her months to recover.
Lira’s speech was hampered, and she has been attempting to recover while taking things gently.
Lerato said on Instagram after restarting social media that her speech mending is delayed, but she’s doing everything she can to stay sane.
“Complements of the new year! I haven’t posted this year. My speech healing is very slow, I’m doing the best I can to remain sane. I’m still alive and well. I wish great health, prosperity and love,” she captioned post.
She also shared a video clip detailing all she’s been doing while she was off social media.
