AKA Explains What Sparked The Fight With Burna Boy

AKA clears the air about what sparked the fight with Burna Boy.

Following a xenophobic debate in 2020, two musicians who were friends turned out to be enemies.

AKA, real name Kiernan Forbes, revealed last year that he no longer has anything against the Nigerian singer.

However, the Grammy Awards won by Wouter Kellerman, Nomcebo, and Zakes Bantiwnini reignited speculation about the two musicians.

Burna lost to South African musicians, which made some people happy because of the Nigerian singer’s history with Mzansi.

“Congratulations 2 @Nomcebozikode @ZakesBantwiniSA @wouterkellerman for winning grammy award. I guess @akaworldwide AKA was right when he said we are gifted in South Africa. He was defending us against Burna Boy …funny thing our artists won against him (@burnaboy)” a tweep wrote.

AKA instantly cleared the air by recounting what caused the fight.

“Congrats but that chat wasn’t about music or talent. It actually started with soccer and ended up being about xenophobia. Crazy times,” the rapper wrote.
