South African Award-Winning Television Presenter Bonang Matheba talks about why she left the Netflix reality series Young Famous and African so quickly.
The media personality’s participation in season 2 piqued the interest of many fans, however her cameo appearance disappointed many. People took to social media to share their ideas about why she left.
She allegedly quit to avoid “power struggles, competing egos from fellow cast members, and rumors that could have potentially tainted her brand.”
Setting the record straight, Queen B said she didn’t leave because of the altercation with Luis. “I didn’t just leave the show,” she tells ZiMoja. “I was just a guest star and not a permanent cast member. My job was to be in and out.”
In another story, Bonang Matheba expressed excitement as the 2-years legal battle against her former management Celebrity Services Africa (CSA) Global has been resolved. “Yes! I’m very happy about the win. It’s been a long and uncomfortable battle but we prevailed.”
