Mpho Wabadimo won the previous season of Big Brother Mzansi. She was considered the underdog as she competed against fan favorites Themba Broly and Gershwin “Gash1” Mthombeni.
Mpho was regarded as the cast’s villain during her time at the Big Brother mansion. However, this did not prevent her from amassing a sizable fan base. A social media fanbase that would compete with the fan bases of other BB housemates.
Specifically, with fellow Big Brother couple, Gash1 and Thato Immaculate’s fanbase. As a result of the ongoing beef between their fanbases, it seems that each housemate has decided to distance themselves from each other in their personal lives. However, it was Mpho Wabadimo, who has gotten slack for confirming this fact.
Before finding mainstream acclaim following her stint on Big Brother, Mpho Wabadimo was already active on YouTube with her own channel. A channel which currently boasts over 62.8k subscribers and over 2.4 million views and counting.
Ahead of her most recent video, Wabadimo had posted Diary Session ⅖. In this edition of the video, Mpho was sharing a life update with her subscribers. As such, it was only a matter of time until she needed to address whether or not she was still friends or had any relationship with her former housemates. More so as she was asked if she would be interested in a reunion episode.
Mpho was quick to make it clear that she was not as she stated in part that:
“I’m not interested in these people. I don’t give zero f**ks of what happens to them. That’s why, literally, I say this all the time, that I personally blocked each and every one of them. Whether we were following each other or not, ‘cause I told myself that, uhm, angifuni into engi-connect-ayo. (Meaning: she does not want anything that connects her to her former housemates).”

Suffice to say, that upon the clip landing on Twitter after being circulated on TikTok first. Tweeps were quick to villainize Wabadimo. This is as they continued to perpetuate suggestions that Wabadimo was the antagonist in the Big Brother house.
“You go to sleep and someone calls you Friend, you wake up and that someone now calls you Those People”

It didn’t take long for her supporters to arm themselves against her detractors. This is because Wabadimo is not the first person to confirm having separated from former housemates. This comes after Gash1 and Thato Immacuate, who have a joint YouTube channel since their marriage, expressed similar sentiments about blocking all of their former housemates.
Wabadimo, on the other hand, stated that her decision was based on her experience at the house. Gash1 and Thato appeared to have implied that they blocked their former housemates on social media due to the comments and backlash they would receive from their respective fan bases on their posts. As a result, they desired to safeguard their mental health and give themselves the allowance to move on.

Here's the "nonsense" she said lala. Why's it wrong for Mpho to block them but right for them to do the same thing? They all have the right to move on from each other and start afresh. They can block and disassociate from whomever they please! pic.twitter.com/ggcbOFJI73— ☯︎𝐧𝐲𝐱👽 (@onyx_xee) December 16, 2022
