Lynn Forbes Speaks On How She Is Dealing With Her Son. AKA’s Death

Lynn Forbes has spoken out about how she is dealing with the death of her son, AKA, who was shot outside a Durban restaurant in early February.

Lynn took to Instagram to share how she’s dealing with her devastating loss. She credits self-care, self-acceptance, and social support with assisting her healing.

“I get to decide how to put myself back together. If feels like my life has fallen apart and it has. However, I am leaning into my grief and feeling my emotions. Good self- care, self acceptance and social support is what gets me through the days. There is new life to be lived all around me 🙏🏽,” she wrote.

Lynn has been very outspoken about her feelings and the way she’s had to deal with her loss.

She recently revealed that a ‘piece of her soul is gone forever‘ and that she will never be able to go back to the old her. She said that this has now become the “new normal” for her.
