Makhadzi is overjoyed after winning the 8th AFRIMA, which was held in Dakar, Senegal, from January 12 to 15, 2023.
The singer won Best Southern African Female Artist of the Year, and she took to social media to thank those who voted for her.
“Congratulations, I made it. Your votes counted and thank you very much for choosing me as your Best Southern African Female artist. I appreciate your support very much and Afrima thank you for recognizing my hard work… Aa wee,” she wrote.
This is an exciting win for Makhadzi following the break-up news from her boyfriend, Master KG.
Though it was rumored that the two pulled a publicity stunt, but they are yet to clear the air about the saga.
