Somizi and his estranged husband, Mohale Motaung are currently in the process of their divorce. The former couple got married into a community of property and are legally expected to share their property 50-50 in the divorce settlement.

It is however reported that Mohale allegedly wants nothing from Somizi except a car since Somgaga reportedly wrecked his car.
