Thabo Bester and Nandipha Magudumana are living proof that life in South Africa is a real-life movie!
The criminal couple, dubbed Mzansi’ “Bonnie and Clyde,” has captivated the public with their incredible exploits. Now, social media users are clamoring for a documentary series to be made about the drama, and they’ve even created a “Netflix” poster to get the ball rolling!
Thabo and Nandipha are both charged with murder, desecration of dead bodies, fraud, and escaping from prison.
Over the weekend, entertainment reporter Phil Mphela shared a tweet of a “poster” making light of Thabo Bester and Nandipha Magudumana.
The poster is about a fictional Netflix series, created by Twitter users. The series is titled “The Bester Plan” and is “set for release” on 26 April.
But more gripping than the concept of the production was the visual representation of who should play the lead characters. In the poster, actor Mothusi Magano takes on the role of Thabo Bester while leading lady Sindi Dlathu is “cast” as Nandipha.
The supporting cast includes the talented Sello Maake KaNcube, Warren Masemola, and Africa Tsoai.

Meanwhile, veteran actor Sello Maake KaNcube has also expressed interest in bagging a role in a future film production about the couple.
He tweeted in recent days weekend: “#ThaboBester and #DrNandipha story is a perfect script!”.
He added following the couple’s arrest: “Love will make you do stupid things in a smart way! Even while on their way to Kenya, they didn’t see the need to split and not travel together. I mean, everyone is looking for a male and a female. Splitting would have increased their chances! This script keeps getting better!”
