JUST IN: Westlife Has Announced And Released SA Tour Dates

Westlife fans can rejoice: the legendary Irish boy band will visit South Africa as part of its The Wild Dreams tour. Westlife achieved quick success after releasing their first single, Swear It Again, which topped the charts in Ireland and the United Kingdom (UK) for two weeks in 1999.

Westlife has sold millions of albums globally and has a large following in South Africa.

Unfortunately, Westlife will only be appearing in Cape Town and Pretoria as part of their South African tour this November. The band will perform at the Grand Arena in Cape Town on November 1, 2023. Westlife will perform at the SunBet Arena in Pretoria on November 3, 2023.

Tickets will be available for purchase via Ticketmaster on May 12, 2023. Ticket distribution for the Westlife performance will be delayed, and tickets will be accessible 30 days before the event on the Ticketmaster App or in the browser. Following your purchase, you will only receive an order confirmation.

Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Nicky Byrne, and Kian Egan are the current members of the band. Westlife broke up in 2012, but reformed in 2018.

Since their 2018 comeback, their prior singles “What About Now,” “Queen of My Heart,” “If I Let You Go,” and “My Love” have all received higher Gold certifications in the United Kingdom after being released ten, seventeen, eighteen, and twenty years ago, respectively. Twenty years after their release, “Flying Without Wings” and “World of Our Own” were certified Platinum.
