Fans were quick to point out that both Nadia Nakai and Bonang Matheba dated slain rapper AKA. Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, popularly known as AKA’s was shot dead outside of Wish restaurant on Florida Road, Durban on 10 February.

AKA was dating Nadia at the time of his death. While the rapper was rumoured to have dated Bonang from 2015 to 2017. AKA was accused of cheating on his “baby mama” DJ Zinhle while she was pregnant with their daughter Kairo. So, Tweeps were curious to see their interactions.

Bonang is not the only new face to the series — she is joined by Ghanaian-American rapper Fantana and former Big Brother Africa contestant Luis Munana from Namibia.

The all-star cast of season one return to face a lot of unanswered questions like what happened between Diamond Platnumz, Andile Ncube and Zari Hassan after the chance encounter between the trio in Diamond’s home, and what is the status of everyone’s friendships after many arguments, loads of drama, and a pot stir or two from Khanyi Mbau and Nadia Nakai.

Although it is unknown when the second season was shot, Nadia lost her boyfriend – killed rapper AKA — on February 10 of this year. As a result, fans are hungry to learn more.

Sebabatso Mothibi, a model and socialite, and Rosette Ncwana, a supermodel and actress, will also make appearances. Both of whom have a history of dating Andile. Given the previous season’s drama and tension, how does this fit within the show’s existing dynamic?
