Connie Chiume has won the GQ Men of the Year 2022 lifetime achievement award.
The brand honored the actress with the 2022 Hennessy V.S.O.P Privilège Lifetime Achievement Award for her contributions to the global entertainment industry (LAA).
Chiume has a 45-year acting career, having appeared in local television classics, theatrical productions, the acclaimed musical Black is King, and the international blockbuster Black Panther, making her a well-known South African household name.
“By awarding Connie Chiume with this prestigious accolade, Hennessy V.S.O.P Privilège recognises what an inspiration this veteran entertainment icon has been to the country and the broader global entertainment sector.
